On 13 February 2021, 04:00 UTC - 08:00 UTC, maintenance activities targeting implementation of security patches and database upgrades will be applied in the Canada (Toronto) [neo-ca1], Brazil (São Paulo) [neo-br1], US East (Ashburn) [neo-us1], US West (Chandler) [neo-us2], US East (Sterling) [neo-us3] and US West (Colorado) [neo-us4] regions, as part of an overarching Cloud Platform Major Upgrade.

During this period, the SAP Сloud Platform services will be updated as follows:

[Audit Log Retention API] Between 04:00 UTC and 05:00 UTC no audit logs will be able to be retrieved via the API. The Audit Log write functionality will not be affected.

[Commercial Infrastructure] Between 04:00 UTC and 05:30 UTC a service disruption with a duration of up to 30 minutes will be experienced. Customers will not be able to perform some of the operations on their subaccounts.

[Document Center] Between 05:30 UTC and 05:45 UTC the service will not be available.

[Theme Designer] Between 05:30 UTC and 06:30 UTC service consumers will get SAP fallback theme instead of custom theme.

[Monitoring] Between 05:30 UTC and 06:30 UTC a service disruption with a duration of up to 35 minutes will be experienced. Customers will not be able to see historical metric data. History of the application (Java, HTML5, XS) and DB metrics will not be available. 

[Business Rules] Between 05:30 UTC and 07:30 UTC tenant onboarding/offboarding, creation of Business Rules artifacts and Invocation of rule service will not be possible. The REST API will not be reachable.

[Forms by Adobe] Between 05:30 UTC and 07:30 UTC a service disruption with a duration of up to 90 minutes will be experienced. Customers will not be able to create any form output (PDF, PCL, PS and other print files).

[Workflow Service] Between 05:30 UTC and 07:00 UTC an upgrade of the service database will be performed. The customers will not be able to reach the REST API.

[Extensions Service] Between 05:30 UTC and 07:00 UTC a service disruption with a duration of up to 30 minutes will be experienced. Managing the SAP CP extension package for SAP SuccessFactors will not be possible. This includes initial configuration, activation, deactivation and restore operations. Usage of the SAP Cloud Platform SDK console client command will not be possible.

[Software Logistics] Between 05:30 UTC and 07:00 UTC a service disruption with a duration of up to 30 minutes will be experienced. Deployment of MTA archives will not be possible. There will be no disruption of running services, but applications could not be installed or updated.

[OData Provisioning] Between 05:30 UTC and 07:15 UTC the service will not be reachable. All the Fiori applications and custom UIs/applications consuming ODP endpoints or customers accessing ODP via API Management will be impacted.

[Enterprise Messaging] Between 05:30 UTC and 07:30 UTC all management requests to the service will not be working. Existing running scenarios that only use messaging and do not rely on management requests will not be affected.

[Identity Provisioning Service] Between 06:30 UTC and 07:30 UTC manually triggered and scheduled identity provisioning replications will not work. Identity provisioning proxy functionality will not be available. New tenants will not be onboarded.  

[Portal] Between 05:30 UTC and 07:30 UTC a service disruption with a duration of up to 60 minutes will be experienced. Portal will not be available to customers at this time.

[Database Lifecycle Management] Between 07:30 UTC and 08:00 UTC customers will not be able to perform lifecycle management operations on database, nor use persistence related views in the cockpit or commands in the Neo command line tool.
